Glass Wool Panel Mounting Hardware

Primacoustic acoustic panels can be mounted on a wall by various methods, depending on your specific application. In addition to using typical screws and adhesives, Primacoustic has developed a series of impalers to provide the installer with a simple, quick, and effective method for mounting acoustic panels on walls without causing serious surface defacement.

To ensure panels do not get dislodged after installation, applying a dab of construction adhesive to the centre of the Impaler during the mounting process adds a level of security and reduces opportunity for tampering. Impalers are installed using typical sheetrock anchors and screws.

Impalers

  • Push-on Impalers feature protruding darts for quick installation of panels. Simply push the panel onto the Impaler.
  • Surface Impalers feature protruding triangular darts which let you hang a panel like a picture.
  • Corner Impalers are wedge-shaped plates for mounting bass traps in the corners of a room.
  • Offset Impalers are U-shaped plates with protruding darts for mounting panels with an air cavity behind them – increasing bass absorption.
