Primacoustic, a leader in the acoustic treatment industry, is seeking a sales professional for the Eastern USA (see below). The position will entail supporting and maintaining existing accounts as well as discovering and nurturing new business opportunities. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, proven sales ability, organizational skills, as well as the ability to travel monthly. Experience in acoustics is preferred but not essential: what is essential is sales experience within audio, construction, hospitality, education and/or other relevant industries.
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate and explain Primacoustic products to end users, integrators, retail dealers, gypsum supply dealers, acoustical tile installers, architects, consultants, facilities managers and a variety of other decision makers. They will also be expected to consult, design and support solutions to the above-mentioned client bases. Training in these areas will be provided but a basic understanding of sound and acoustics would be beneficial.
Travel within the territory is expected on a monthly basis along with local site visits on a regular basis. Attendance at trade shows within the territory and beyond will also expected.
Compensation will include a base salary, commission and travel expenses.
