Razorblade™ Mounting

Select the wall where you would like to hang your Razorblade diffusers. Ideally, the center of the diffusion should be placed at the same height as your ears when seated in your listening position. The weight of the Razorblade is supported by a rail that runs along the bottom.

1. Use a bubble level and pencil to make a horizontal line where you want the bottom of the Razorblade to be.

2. Along the line mark the positions of the studs. For masonry and concrete wall use an appropriate fastener.

3. Using the horizontal line as a guide, mount a 1" x 2" rail to the wall studs. The rail will bear the weight of the Razorbade.

4. The well on the either side are full-depth and can be drilled to make mounting points for the top end. Pre-drill two 1/4” holes in the top of the two outer-most wells.

5. With the help of a second person, lift the Razorblade up and rest it on the support rail. Mark the position of the holes you just drilled in step 4.

6. Drill a 1/2" hole in the wall where you marked in sttep 5. The holes must be large enough to accept the toggle bolt.

7. Prepare the outer-most well in the Razorblade with two 1/4" toggle bolts.

Pass the 1/4" bolt through the holes in the Razorblade and thread on the toggle section.

8. Lift the Razorblade back onto the rail. Push the toggle botls through the wall and tighten.
