Trimming Broadway Panels

Primacoustic Broadway panels are easily trimmed to fit areas where a full panels may be too large. Areas like bulkheads, vaulted ceilings and odd room corners can be custom fitted simply by following the basic steps below.

Tool Required:

  • Utility knife
  • Scissors
  • Straight edge
  • Spray adhesive

Step 1:
Peal back the fabric wrapping from the back of the Broadway panel. Pull the fabric down past your cutting line so you don't accidentally cut through it.

Step 2:
Measure and mark the panel. Use a sharp blade to cut through the panel. It's better to make several passes with the blade than to try and cut through it with one pass.

Step 3:
Use scissor to trim away the extra fabric. This part is a lot like gift wrapping a present.

Step 4:
Spray on a generous amount of the adhesive. Be sure to lay down a coat on the fabric and the panel for the best adhesion.

Step 5:
Pull the fabric around the new edge so it is tight across the front of the panel. Press the fabric down into the adhesive

Step 6:
Flip the panel over and confirm there are no wrinkles. Let it rest on the floor for a few hours to ensure the adhesive has fully dried.
