There are many acoustic challenges when treating larger rooms: highly reverberant sound fields, long decay times and large wall surfaces that can be expensive to treat and often end up looking less than desirable. Primacoustic provides a solution called Montreal that looks good, sounds great and is easy to install.

Montreal kits consist of 52” x 12” vertical panels combined with the popular Scandia series of diffusion blocks. The Z16 SQ adds four Australis corner bass traps to tailor low frequency response. Modular design means flexibility when your acoustic requirements are at odds with your architectural reality. Performance is assured with the use of our finest 3” thick high-density acoustic foam for maximum absorption. All Primacoustic foam is embedded with fire retardant to meet the stringent California C-117 specification, providing a safe, worry-free installation.

The panels in the Montreal kits are generally spaced every 18” across parallel wall surfaces to provide excellent control over the reverberant field, while reducing flutter echo and standing waves. If you are planning on changing the look of your room, or if a move is in your future, talk to your dealer about ordering a set of backboards for your Montreal kit. The backboards allow the Montreal panels to be hung like a picture frame.

Montreal rooms are ideally suited for recording spaces, band practice rooms, dance studios, home theatre installations, and audiophile listening rooms.
